Да. Саппорт говняный, сервера говняные (кроме брендовых типа Dell). Единственный плюс - низкая стоимость. Если проект не критичный и может быть оффлайн пару дней, то с большой натяжкой можно.
А вообще, этот хостер - лотерея. Повезёт, попадёшь на нормальное железо, не повезёт (мне не повезло) - будет подвисать, ребутаться, и т.д.

ожидаемые нагрузки - отдача примерно до 6-10 тб в месяц из хранилища гигов до 500-700

Лёха, а хост-фуд не собирается размещать сервера и юрлицо где-нибудь за бугром?
Я вот последнее время юзаю transip.eu, после того, как у одних знакомых знакомых какие-то то ли менты, то ли чекисты вытащили сервер из стойки и не вернули.

принято решение что даунтайм некритичен
взял "аукционный", без установочной платы, мать десктопная ASUS P8B WS, проц Е3-1245, 16 гиг рамы, 2*3Тб саташных сигейта хорошего уровня. кому интересно - ниже дмесг, псиконф и смарт
из их "resque system" разметил жпартом винты, поднял змиррор на партициях, развернул 10-ю фрю из дистрибутивов с фряшного ФТП, все вполне удобно
один из винтов переразметил уже 254 сектора, думаю отправлять ли запрос на замену харда, или пока посмотреть не будет ли расти Reallocated_Sector_Ct

попутно встал вопрос, как лучше раскидать распихивать апачу , нгинИКСом и мускуль? веб в одну клеть, мусяю в другую, или держать в одной? и если распихивать, то как держать между ними связь при том что всего один ип?
