Еще вопрос а можно установить эти дрова на фришку в режиме совместимости с линуксом ?
то есть поставить из портов эмулятор линукса (/usr/ports/emulators/linux_base-fc4) и прицепить МФУ с линуксовыми дровами ...

Это да.... трабл в том, что я не знаю откуда его вообще взять? этот файл в составе чего должен быть? в исходниках драйвера или cups надо брать в исходниках?

Вообще я сначала распаковывал бинарники...
в результате "/usr/local/libexec/cups/filter/pstoufr2cpca failed"
в логе ругается на отсутствующие библиотеки *.so(не помню точных названий файлов)

вот и захотелось мне собрать из исходников....
после долгой войны за пакеты gtk-+2 пошел процесс компиляции, но не тут то было... подавай header ему, только вот где его взять и как подсунуть.

Вообще немного смущает список поддерживаемых ОС на сайте производителя, в котором ни одной BSD-системы не указано.

Очень хочется поднять вопрос топикстартера - можно пересобрать из исходников сие творение?

Распаковка модулей из rpm- или deb-пакетов ни к чему толковому не приведет.

Уж больно хочется спихнуть сетевой принтер со своего компа на сервак с бсд...

собственно у меня так руки тогда и не дошли
там скорее всего вручную нужно править меик файлы и прочее
что бы оно пути к cups находил

cups ты поставил
так что в системе cups.h должен быть
ножно токо праивльно указать пути что бы оно собрало

в общем с заголовочными файлами обошлось так:
тащим из /usr/local/include/ каталог cups в корень к исходникам(параметра для ./configure тольком я не нашел, всякие типа --includedir=.... - не катят )

Ну да ладно...

Проблема следующая:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lcups

это что за зверюга такая? откуда его породить можно? Я так понимаю это модуль, только куда он у меня мог подеваться?

Сам по себе демон cups у меня вроде как пошет, по крайней мере веб-интерфейс на 631 порту чего-то показывает.

под "синими" подразумевается этот код:

кривой конфигуре
сделай поиск вручную cups либов посмотри где они лежат
и смотри в отчет конфигуре как он проверяет их

походу конфигуре тебе прийдеться править

пару недель был в отпуске....

Что-то не хватает у меня знаний для ручного редактирования конфигуры:( А вопрос так и остается открытым.... никак не удается подружить фрю с этим МФУ.
Может все-таки кто-то сталкивался и смог решить данный вопрос?
