Есть /usr/ports/, расшаренные nfs с другой машины. На клиенте пытаюсь обновить самбу
$> portupgrade samba
....

В чем проблема?

1. оформляй топики нормально. Используй конопочку code
2. поиск рулит. Проблема обсуждалась.
Советую директоию сборки выносить локально в /tmp например

эээ, и как же вынести директорию сборки в /tmp, например?
установкой переменной WRKDIRPREFIX в файле /etc/make.conf
