В KDE не работают эффекты и тормозит графика. ATI 2600XT

Привет друзья! С каких-то не очень давних пор (после обновления xorg) моя видяха начала наконец-то нормально ускорять 3D (пошли игрухи)
Драйвер пользую xf86-video-ati
OS: FreeBSD 8.0 i386
pciconf -lv
glxinfo
Но вот в kde почему то никакие 3D эффекты не работают, и вообще как-то тормозит вывод на экран... По идее то и хрен с ним, всё равно под fluxbox всегда сижу, но всё же хочется чтоб было всё и плюшки-рюшки-финтифлюшки тоже 
В чём проблема может быть?
