Перезагрузка компьютера при загрузке FreeBSD 9.1

При попытке установить FreBSD 9.0 или 9.1 система перезагружается. Как мне кажется при попытке проинициализировать контроллер scsi. При этом 7.2 ставится нормально.
В общем установил я 9.1 в безопасном режиме, и теперь при загрузке тоже перезагружается. Грузиться только в безопасном режиме.

8.4 устанавливайте, на таких машинах 9.х обычно не работает.

После установки 9.х, чтобы поставить 8.4, надо удалить GPT ,
самое простое(но долго), это забить весь диск нулями, dd вам в помощь.

Ни где не написано что она более требовательна и на одних машинах будет работать, а на других нет. Можно пруфлинк? Или вы это так, для красного словца?

У меня около 10 серверов на freebsd. Все на десктоповом железе. Нашел закономерность: убрать процессор на котором написано 800.
Т.е. например такой процессор будет работать: P4 3.06/1M/533/84A
А если вместо 533 будет 800, то будет ребутится когда по ssh что-то устанавливаю или пересобираю ядро.
Я поделился своим опытом, надеюсь многим поможет.
Мучился с каждым сервером, на изучение этой проблемы потратил 2 месяца.
И уже успокоился,
а сегодня с нормальным процом сервак стал глючить. Не знаю что делать. Хочется узнать поподробнее об этой проблеме.

Уже вроде собираются выпускать 10, на сколько вероятно что 10 версия не будет глючить?

800 частота шины. проверяйте железо, попробуйте загрузиться в режиме Disable ACPI
и не подскажите, что такого вы используете в 9.х, чего нет в 8.4?

Ничего не использую.
во всех серверах одно и тоже: PF, transparent Squid (сейчас 3.2.13), dhcp, bind (9.9.3-P2),
еще разные программы nmap, trafshow, скрипты для подсчета логов squid и т.д.
Обычно я переустанавливаю от нечего делать, всегда ставлю самые последние стабильные версии.
Последний раз все переустановили на 9.1 и бинд 9.9.3-P2 из-за атак типа isc.org (в логах постоянно идут запросы что пезолвят isc.org, думаю Вы слышали о таком типе атаки). Не сильно помогло. но переустановил. Красиво все, работает отлично.

Очень хотелось бы получить ответ, мнение, предположение. С чего это вдруг начиная с 9 версии проблемы с железом? Кто-нибудь сталкивался что на 800 при пересборке ядра (или установке например openssl, squid, portsnap fetch update) "уходит в перезагрузку"?
