Ошибся, у меня 7.2 stable.
В начале в uname -a не глянул, да и забыл что ставил.
посмотрел в /var/crash есть файлы с дампом ядра.
vmcore.6, info.6 и bound.
vmcore.6 приводить не буду, т.к. он 234.6 Мб.

Пробовал гуглить - натыкался только на упоминание, что линейка памяти может врать.
В dmesg нет ни малейшего у поминания о словах core (кроме проца), dump и fault.
