Не встает откомпилированное ядро.

Добрый день, уважаемые. Столкнулся с довольно странной проблемой при установке своего ядра. Делал все строго по хендбуку.
Скачал с офф фтп исходники как описано в
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/ru/books/han ... lding.html :

Если в вашей системе отсутствует каталог /usr/src/sys, это означает, что исходные тексты ядра не были установлены. Наиболее простой способ установить их - запустить sysinstall как root, выбрать Configure, потом Distributions, потом src, потом base и sys.

Правим MYKERN_2010 . в моем случае я просто добавил строчку options QUOTA . переходим в /usr/src и вбиваем :
Ядро собирается без ошибок, все в порядке. Далее:
Без ошибок ядро устанавливается. Смотрим /boot :

дата сегодняшняя, время как раз когда я собирал ядро - 09-49.

Причем пользовался и старым способом с config MYKERN-2010, make cleandepend и тп, Ситуация абсоютно такая же, в loader.conf пусто.
Подскажите где можно покопать, уже идей нету.. Ядро устанавливается в /boot/kernel но загрузка с него не происходит.

вообще подозрительно что одинаковые размеры у ядер, прозреваю что что-то вы нито сделали
make installkernel без KERNCONF=MYKERN_2010 сделали, например

Вот это то и удивляет что я делал с ним и я видел когда собиралось ядро что собиралось мое.
А инсталл я абсолютно точно вводил с керн конф, по совету lissyara я даже в /etc/make.conf прописал KERNCONF=MYKERN_2010
Вообще бред =(

Сейчас вот еще интереснее пересобрал ядро, урезал многое, сделал инсталл:

Размер ядра изменился, ну думаю наконец-то. Красота!

переименуйте имя конфига без подчеркивания
и пересоберите итд
потом покажите что там

Дело в том что я его как только не обзывал уже, даже MAIL2 просто, это не помогло.. все равно идет дженерик причем скомпиленный не у меня на машине потому что там был бы root@hosname машины GENERIC - а вообще стандартное видимо -

кстати из /usr/src make clean вылетает с ошибкой, это нормально?

Вот я тоже подумал что обновление мира стоило бы сделать....
Потому что ставил не я а ставили мне в датацентре непонятно кто и не понятно как, что очень печально...

rm -Rf /usr/obj/* перед сборкой и установкой
лично я вообще никогда мозг не парю а делаю просто
make kernel KERNCONF= имя конфига
все собирется и само установится

Я обычно тоже! я уже и rm -rf /usr/src пробовал и заного исходники из инета подгружал - бес толку (

но так как обновлялся с 7.2 RELEASE до 7.2 RELEASE то в uname ничего не обновилось.
Единственное я в однопользовательском режиме не запускал mergemaster....
make clean в /usr/src заработал. Дальше собрал ядро. И все равно:

Меня просто убивает это ядро, откуда оно грузится, ну откуда то же оно грузится, убить его нада нафиг =((((

у меня тоже были такие проблемы!
Выполнял по HB

# chflags -R noschg *
# rm -rf *
# cd /usr/src/
# make -j4 buildworld
# make -j4 buildkernel=MYKERNEL
# make installkernel=MYKERNEL
В [single user]:

# /sbin/mount -u /
# /sbin/mount -a
# mergemaster -p
# cd /usr/src
# make installworld
# YES | make delete-old
# YES | make delete-old-libs
# mergemaster
Результат: Грузился GENERIC
Помогло вот это! Нашел ошибки в кернел!
