FreeBSD или Debian

Добрый день !

Стал передо мной выбор FreeBSD или Debian, причина вопроса в организации ОБЛАКА

Будет сайт, большой сайт на Яве, который будет расположен на разных серверах ... и сервера будут находиться в разных странах, один в Европе , Украине .. может еще где то !

Насколько я знаю FreeBSD не умеет стоить Обалко , только кластерную систему ... что в данном случае не подходит !
А вот Debian умеет, да и поговаривают что производительность будет попольше для Ява приложений ! ...

Правда ли єто вот решил еще узнать у Вас гуру своего дела ! Что скажете ? ??

ява на фре — охапка костылей. Особенно, если приложение под линукс затачивалось. Я по пятой зенд студии сужу, она на яве писана под линукс. Когда ставил, костыли лезли один за одним, а когда поставил, то тормозило жутко.

Но, я не эксперт по яве, может там какие-то скрытые настройки, о которых знают только избранные...

Фри не умеет "облако", да это ей не нужно. На это есть Java. Вот Java и умеет делать облака.

Лучше ставить Sun JDK 1.6 из порта ports/java/jdk16. В последнее время, правда, апплеты ни в один броузер не загружаются (плагин не подключается, наверно 64-битность не нравится) — приходится пользоваться appletviewer'ом из jdk.
А так всё (Eclipse, Apache Tomcat) работает и не тормозит (FreeBSD 7.2-STABLE amd64).

Ставить на Debian не советую — замучаешься пакетики искать, чтобы заработало ВСЁ. Они ведь что с сановской явой сделали, гадёныши? Они её разукомплектовали по самое "не могу" и даже для ввода русских букв нужно ставить отдельный пакетик! Не говоря уже о том, что не знаешь, что отвалено.

Согласно документу IEEE опубликованному в 2008 году «Облачная обработка данных — это парадигма, в рамках которой информация постоянно хранится на серверах в сети Интернет и временно кэшируется на клиентской стороне, например на персональных компьютерах, игровых приставках, ноутбуках, смартфонах и т. д.»

и чего тут не умеет freebsd?
