только что заметил что на какого то ляда включил поддержку SMP в ядре,хотя у самого пень 3.

надо будет убрать.

Вырубил нафиг флопик, всё равно у меня его нету. Можно было бы и сидюк вырубить ибо его тоже нету. Но пока хватит

загрузка реально в 3 раза быстрее
и свободной памяти - завались %)

загрузка - это важно... на сервере, который загружается раз в полгода...
а рама - да... если у тя было 32 - то может её и стало втрое больше, когда ядро с 24 до 8 усохло...

у меня ядро вообще 4,9 метра

dmesg мой смотри, у меня ноутбук

а рамы 256
гном + фаерфокс + пиджин + компиляция в фоне = бывает тормозит
