Всем привет.
Поставил систему 7.2 на отдельный винт дабы сделать фтп сервер. С другого сервера снял 5 винтов и подключил их к фре. В результате 3 новых винта видно а два нет. НО если подключаю все тогда система не грузится - черный экран и курсор мигает, если отключаю винти которые вткнуты в сата 5 и сата 6 система загружается нормально. Теперь включаю на горячуюю остальные два винта и их в девайсах не видно тоесть система на лету их не хавает. В чем проблема не пойму? Помогите плиз.

а в биосе все винты видны?
Если ipfw можно считать речью обычного человека, то pf - речь политика. За каждой ошибкой -ядерный песец.

1. В биосе все винты видны.
2. Asus M3A78 PRO
3. Новая мамка, винты старые но рабочие 100%.

это все сата, нет IDE.

включил винт на которм система в 5 сата порт, теперь система начинает грузится при всех включенных винтах, но после обнаружения ядром 4 винтов ad4 ad6 ad8 ad10 появляется строка

для ввода пути к / но проблема в том что этот / находится по логике на ad12 а его система не обнаруживает, тоесть загрузчик начинает грузить ядро а потом уже ядро не видит остальные винты, проблема думаю всетаки в совместимости системы и материнки, а точнее контроллеров сата. Или как?

надо сперва исключить БП, тогда можно будет грешить на фрю. Если есть загрузочник винды, проверь будет ли она их всех определять на этапе выбора установки диска для ос или с лайвсд загрузись. Если проблема во фре это одно, а если в железе, то совсем другое.

Сначала нужно определить проблема во фре или железе, для этого загрузится с LiveCD лялиха/винды и хорошо нагрузить диски (если конечно все определятся).

во вторник только смогу опробовать, думаю всетаки что это мать не совместима с фрей или наоборот. Даю 90% что винда увидит все диски.
+1 асус виндовс компатибл штампует

в порядке бреда: включи на двух винтах перемычкой режим SATA-150

Еще проверь как ведет себя FreeBSD, если SATA-контроллер перевести в режим IDE compatible

подтверждаю такое
у меня было подобная ситуация
модель материнки точно непомню но что асус примерно из этой же серии это точно
фря у меня тогда всеже загрузилась и все винты всеже нашла и так далее
вот только сервачек зависал очень уж часто безо всяких причин
материнку заменил на более дешевую я тогда
и сейчас все работает

Асус фигли
хотя и интеловские встречались не чуть нелучше - которые работают только на IDE а сата ихний фря и незнает

Столько догадок... Продемонстрируйте /var/run/dmesg.boot после загрузки в режиме Verbose boot.

Не в винтах дело вот что нарыл,

сегодня поставил линукс, так он ведет чебя точно так же, только з 5 сата порта загружается система и видит все винты, по другому не работает, хотя ACPI APIC отключил в биосе. Кроме того он еще и матерится при загрузке что биос имеет баг.

Хотелось конечно увидеть dmesg из FreeBSD... Мне кажется что проблема у вас связана с этим:

Всем привет.

Сегодня необходимо было еще 7 винт туда всунуть. Поставил PCI express to SATA. Включил, опять нифига не видит 7 винт.
Разозлился, скачал новый биос, прошил и о чудо 7 винт увидели.

Так что походу проблема была в биосе.

Как говорят за бугром - SOLVED.

Подтверждаю.
Мать M2A-H/HDMI, не видела 5-6 винта из-за работы дискового контроллера в режиме IDE/compatible. После переключения в AHCI все завелось.

Пишу больше для таких же бедолаг, благодарен, что нашел здесь подсказку.
