Samba и как её настроить.

Приветствую всех.
На машине установлена Fedora 9 и несколько HDD с ФС NTFS.Парюсь уже 3 дня, разобраться не могу:
в Fedora 9(возможно и в остальных) есть свой мастер для организации рессурсов, зашел в него, указал какую папку подключать, какой пользователь может её использовать и вроде бы все, но появляется одно но(!): когда я с Windows пытаюсь подключиться к серверу

Пуск -> Выполнить -> \\<IP сервера>
то получаю сообщение о ненайденом пути. когда же я захожу через Сетевое окружение получаю сообщение:

Не удалось подключиться к сети из-за существования совпадающих имен. Измените имя компьютера и повторите попытку.

Имена не повторяются?

Я у себя сделал так:

        netbios name = MAIN
        server string = Main file server
        domain master = yes
        local master = yes
        preferred master = yes
        os level = 65
        remote announce =
        wins support = yes
Таким образом, сервер с Samba становится "local master" (происходит это не сразу), и виндовые машины начинают получать список компов в сети от Samba. Хождение по сети становится значительно быстрее. Если надо, скину полный конфиг.
Только вот с доменом не помогу, т.к. сам не занимался, и с DNS вместо netbios тоже не работал (хотя свой DNS у меня в сети есть).
Лучше разберись с Samba, чем мучать её через визарды всякие.
