В самом начале, при установке самбы выдает:

ставлю как и написано в статье из /usr/ports/net/samba3 сначала сконфигурировав.

попробуйте переустановить autoconf

Почему-то перестал авторизовываться после перезагрузки в IE и FF. В Опере нормально всё. В логах winbindd пишет следующие строки:

Видел в гугле у людей такую же проблему, но решения так и не нашёл. Не пойму что делать. Дал тестовые 777 на winbindd_privileged - всё равно не авторизует, уходит в вечный запрос пароля.

проблема решилась , вот теперь почему то выдает ошибку:

у меня такое было с 3.5

сначало 3.5 стояла, потом думал глюк в ней поставил 3.4

Столкнулся с проблемой непонятной. Работала себе прозрачная авторизация ntlm в домене.

И вдруг сквид стал писать "доступ запрещен". Даже окно авторизации не выскакивает. В итоге стало понятно что перестала работать связка сквида и winbindd. Сам винбинд все видит,все проверки проходит, пользователей распознает.

Возникли проблемы.
В принципе всё работает, но очень плохо и медленно. На клиентах переодически просит ввести пароль, очень долгий вход в домен.

Остались вот такие ошибки, суть ошибок понятна почти , непонятно как от них избавиться. В гугле по ним иформацию не нашел.
К домену цепляется, группы видит, пользователей тоже, по id информацию показывает.
Как отчистить кеш winbind или пересоздать его?
Как включить поддержку шифрования на виндовом сервере, или как отключить её на freebsd?

Уберите коменты в файле smb.conf, даже неохота смотреть его.
Если вы хотите просто сделать авторизацию спомощью ntlm аутиентификации, то самбу можно собирать без поддержки ldap
